LELAND — For the last 28 years as a family and probate lawyer in Kentucky, I have assisted in the preparation and sale of real estate for hundreds of clients going through the divorce process or dealing with the death of a loved one. The dynamics of those types of transactions require special people skills and expert negotiation skills with buyers, sellers and other family members. I am now using all of that experience to help people with these same issues and more as a real estate agent in Florida.
I have a significant financial and legal background (undergraduate Finance degree, JD law degree and Certified Divorce Financial Analyst Certification) which can help clients with every aspect of a real estate transaction – from property valuation through securing the correct financing to identifying tax issues.
CARRIE — I am originally from Louisville, Kentucky, but always dreamed of living by the beach. A few years ago, my two daughters went to college, and my husband and I decided it was time to chase our dreams. For over 25 years I practiced law, with a focus on estate planning, probate, business planning, contracts and real estate litigation. However, I decided it was time to jump in and fulfill my dream of working in real estate full time. So here I am and I could not be more excited to put my knowledge, enthusiasm and “make it happen” philosophy to work for my clients. I have a love of real estate – the architecture, the design, the diversity, the potential.
